Becoming a member of the Southern Peninsula Amateur Radio Klub (SPARK) is easy. All you have to do is complete the Membership Form, send it to the Treasurer with your dues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What does membership do for you? Well, two primary things:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1) It helps the club maintain key radio equipment and incorporate new amateur radio capabilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2) Membership allows you to vote on club issues. While anyone can attend club meetings, only members can vote on decisions presented before the club.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dues Payment Options<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dues are currently $20 for an individual per year, or $30 for a family. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are a few ways to pay your club dues:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1) Attend a meeting and pay the Secretary, KC4FLB Robbie. He will provide membership form, if you have not previously filled one out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2) Send a check, payable to SPARK, and membership form to the Treasurer via snail mail:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3) Pay via PayPal. If you pay via PayPal the Treasurer will send an email to you to collect payment through that mechanism, it’s super easy. Once the Treasurer receives payment and your membership form (PDF) via e-mail you’re in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Membership Form<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Use this Membership Form<\/a> to apply or reapply for club membership. This form is a fillable PDF. When you click the link, the form will go into your Downloads folder. Open the file and click in the “Amount Paid” field to start filling the form. Once you have completed the form, save it to your computer with a file name formatted like W4QR-[4-digit year]-[your last name].pdf.<\/em> It should look something like:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Using a filename in this manner aids the Treasurer in maintaining organized records on their side. Therefore, after completing and saving the form, please proceed by following this link<\/a><\/strong> to initiate the form submission process. Subsequently, attach the fully filled form to the email message that should pop up and then click the “send” button. If the email message doesn’t open automatically, please use your regular email client to attach and send the file to the Treasurer at the following address: w4qr.membership@gmail.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
